NEWS: FISHIMPACT at EAFP 2025 โ€“ Bringing ESG to the Forefront of Aquaculture

๐ŸŒŠ The UNIST team participated in the

22nd International Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish (EAFP XXII), held in Heraklion, Crete ๐Ÿ›๏ธ from 1st to 5th September 2025.

๐Ÿ“Š As part of the FISHIMPACT project, Professor Mirela Petriฤ‡ and Professor ลฝeljka Trumbiฤ‡ from UNIST presented results of a survey conducted with aquaculture producers ๐ŸŸ on their perspectives toward ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards ๐ŸŒ. This work was carried out within project deliverable D1.3.1 โ€“ Training syllabus for Adriatic-Ionian SMEs.

๐Ÿค The conference, hosted by the European Association of Fish Pathologists e.V. (EAFP) in collaboration with the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) and the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC), brought together researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ผ to exchange knowledge and foster innovation in aquatic health.
