NEWS: FISHIMPACT at EAFP 2025 – Bringing ESG to the Forefront of Aquaculture

🌊 The UNIST team participated in the

22nd International Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish (EAFP XXII), held in Heraklion, Crete 🏛️ from 1st to 5th September 2025.

📊 As part of the FISHIMPACT project, Professor Mirela Petrić and Professor Željka Trumbić from UNIST presented results of a survey conducted with aquaculture producers 🐟 on their perspectives toward ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards 🌍. This work was carried out within project deliverable D1.3.1 – Training syllabus for Adriatic-Ionian SMEs.

🤝 The conference, hosted by the European Association of Fish Pathologists e.V. (EAFP) in collaboration with the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) and the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC), brought together researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers 🧑‍🔬👩‍💼 to exchange knowledge and foster innovation in aquatic health.
